Build Your Artificial Intelligence Limited ("Build Your AI", "we", "us", "our") is a company registered in England and Wales under company number 13733041. Our registered address is 124 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX.
We provide AI consulting, training, and advisory services to engineering organisations. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it.

What data we collect and why
When you visit our website
We collect standard analytics data about how people use our site - pages visited, time spent, browser type, and approximate location. This is collected via Google Analytics and is used to understand how our site is performing and where to improve it. This data is anonymised and not linked to your identity.
When you take the AI Readiness Assessment
We collect the following personal data:
- Email address - collected at the start of the assessment so we can send your results and follow up with relevant resources
- First name and last name - collected when you unlock your full report
- Company name - collected when you unlock your full report
- Job title - collected when you unlock your full report
- Assessment answers and scores - your responses to the 20 assessment questions and the resulting scores across the four dimensions (AI Strategy & Vision, Governance & Data Control, Data Readiness, and Team Capability)
We use this data to:
- Send your assessment results to your inbox
- Follow up with resources relevant to your results and sector
- Improve the assessment questions and scoring over time
- Contact you about our services where we have a legitimate interest in doing so
The lawful basis for processing this data is legitimate interest. You have come to our site to benchmark your organisation's AI readiness. Sending you results and following up with relevant resources is a reasonable extension of that interaction.
When you book a consultation
When you book a discovery call through our calendar system (Cal.eu), your name and email address are processed by Cal.eu. Cal.eu stores data on servers within the European Union. Their privacy policy is available at cal.com/privacy.
When you contact us directly
If you email us at hello@buildyourai.com, we will retain that correspondence to respond to your enquiry and for our records.
How long we keep your data

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. All data transmitted to and from our site is encrypted via HTTPS. Access to personal data is limited to those who need it to operate our services.
No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. While we do our best to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data transfers outside the UK
Some of the third parties we use - including Google and Brevo -- may process data outside the UK. Where this happens, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, to protect your data to the same standard required under UK GDPR.
Children
Our services are directed at business professionals and organisations. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe we have collected data from a child, please contact us at hello@buildyourai.com and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. We recommend checking this page periodically. Continued use of our site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
